Description
We make our Lavender Geranium Shampoo bar with castor oil because its been used for centuries as a natural conditioner and scalp treatment. To make it even better, we add coconut and olive oils for the rich, nourishing and moisturising qualities they bring to the party. Last but not least, essential oils of lavender and rose geranium help reduce stress and boost antibacterial performance, making this product a true all-rounder. Oh, and did we mention that it's long-lasting and conveniently compact, or how it promotes healthy hair growth as well as taming the wild stuff that's already there? Yes, all that too.
Each Lavender & Geranium Shampoo bar is handmade with coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, lavender & geranium essential oils.
You won't find even the smallest smidgen of palm oil, parabens, sulphates, triclosan or phthalates in any of our soaps; all we add is feel-good factor. Our plastic-free boxes are recycled and recyclable, and we're also registered with The Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International. So Friendly
Our Pennine Pioneers of Purification Perfection since 2011!
Way back in 2011 we approached Friendly Soap to make a couple of Fair Trade bars for us - one was Cocoa Butter and was Shea Butter and Sandalwood (with just a Twist of Cinnamon). After putting in quite a bit of work on different recipes, we hit on a winning formula for the Sandalwood, using ethical Sandalwood powder.
We placed a couple of orders and sold a few hundred of these bars - it was quite a success for us. However, in the meantime, Friendly Soap had been Growing and, alas, they had grown too big for us. Their minimum order quantity was now over a year's sales for us. They had grown because they were so good at hand making their exceptional soap that demand meant they had to increase the size of their moulds.
Because there was such a demand, they also introduced a number of other soaps - today we stock their full range - and they're all good sellers, as it really is Exceptional Soap. ('by coincidence' the only soap bars we use at home, lol.)
Ethical in more ways you can shake a stick at, let Rob & Geoff of Friendly Soap take up their story...
