PlayPress Toys (UK)
PlayPress is the brainchild of Matthew, who in conjunction wth older brother Peter, their Dad Melvin and good friend Mike, sold their products in Portobello market in London. Following their first Trade Show in 2018, they were able to bring their products to a wider market
Growing up, Matthew enjoyed playing with LEGO and Playmobil. He found himself thinking back to that time and wondering if he could come up with a similar concept of a toy you could build worlds and escape into - without the harmful effects of using plastics.
And so PlayPress was born. In their products they use;
- Food safe water-based inks that are Vegan and ocean-friendly
- Glue that's water-based, food safe, biodegradeable and ocean friendly
- Board made from virgin fibres from sustainable forests in Finland
Mike has now moved onto pastures new, but being the artist behind the products, he will always be considered a part of PlayPress.
Now you too can share in Matthew's vision and encourage your kids to play sustainably; nurturing their creativity while having minimal impact on the environment.
