Update on Rani from SOS Children's Village, June 2014

Dear Friend, Greetings!

At SOS Children's Village, we believe in helping a child discover life. We also help in identifying a child's interests and potential at a tender age. We have been able to provide full support and guidance to the children under our care. We feel proud to share with you the story of a talented young child who is on the way to achieving many goals with us.

Children Having Fun In The Village

Rani is a jolly girl. Being the youngest of the house, she is adored and loved by all the members of her family. Her mother says, "Rani is a cute little girl. Her spontaneous reactions and the way she talks attracts anyone's attention. She is very good in Yoga and recently completed her basic course of yoga. She has also performed Yoga at school and at the Village community functions.

Rani was admitted to the Village at a young age. Sharing her SOS experience with us, she says "I was a little nervous when I initially came here. But very soon I realized that my apprehension was unfounded because the environment here at the SOS village and my home is very warm and welcoming. My mother is a selfless woman who took me under her care and has raised me like one of her own. Everyone plays a part to keep the house clean and my mother ensures that we enjoy meals, festivals and birthdays together."

Durga Pooja Festival Celebration at Village

Rani is studying in Class 4 at BM School. Her progress has been good so far.

It is because of your unconditional support and motivation that our children have gathered the spirit to live well and be an inspiration to others. The rapid growth in our children is clearly reflected in their modest but happy achievements. You are the reason we have been able to come so far. Thank you.
